Governor Radda Hails N58 Million Empowerment By Charanchi Legislators

PRESS RELEASE 

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has officially launched the distribution of empowerment support, Ramadan packages, and cash assistance valued at approximately fifty-eight million naira, provided by the member of the State House of Assembly representing Charanchi Constituency.

The empowerment package includes thirty-two motorcycles, fifty POS machines, one thousand bags of 12.5kg millet and maize, as well as cash amounting to over ten million naira. 

The beneficiaries include youth, women and vulnerable residents.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Governor Radda commended the initiative, stating: "The huge investment made by both the legislative members and other political office holders to support people of their respective areas is encouraging."

The Governor particularly appreciated the individual legislators "for sacrificing over fifty million naira to assist people of their constituencies." 

He further emphasized that electorates are "the backbone of any political victory," adding that "success of the elected leaders is determined by the massive votes recorded from their respective constituencies."

Also speaking at the event, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, commended the lawmaker for putting the masses first in their constituency engagement. 

In his remarks, the member representing Charanchi-Rimi-Batagarawa Federal Constituency, Engineer Usman Murtala Banye, expressed gratitude to the State Governor "for involving youths into positions of power in the state." 

The federal legislator also appreciated the State Governor "for ensuring relief to people of the state, part of which is the recently flagged off of RUMBUN SAUKI subsidy shop in the state."

Earlier, the member of the State House of Assembly representing Charanchi, Hon.  Lawal Isah Kuraye, stated that "the gesture was part of lessons he learned from the state governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda." Kuraye, who described the Governor as "a beacon of sincerity," promised "to sustain the gesture for the people of his constituency."

In attendance are the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Principal Private Secretary, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji and members of the State House of Assembly.
